Nice work Juris! I really enjoyed that demo! For sure a nice doohickey. I have to disagree with Olof when it comes to the 3G / Edge trade off though. It is maybe the only real drawback, but it is -imoho- a big drawback. Understandable for a US company where Edge is widely deployed and 3G not so (yet). But why not a multi mode à la Nokia? Edge is besides the lower data speed a genuine packet data service which is good for email, a bit worse for Internet browsing and it really sucks for VoIP (my experience, can be network dependent + your mileage may vary). Basic 3G is simply better on that and I won't even mention HSDPA. I use Fring to run Skype on my Sony-Ericsson P1i and it works just fine over 3G. Frings also supports several other voip solutions (SIP, MSN, GoogleTalk..). You could try it on your Nokia N95 (?) Juris if you haven't already done that. I mean since there is still no general available "Skype for Symbian", Fring is worth a try (it's free). On the N95 you maybe able to try it in both Edge mode and 3G mode just to check if there is any difference (but I believe Tele2 LV does not offer Edge or do they?).
