Alternatives to YouTube?

As I write, YouTube is taking eons to upload a couple of megs of video that I have of Eriks Eglitis, IT manager at the Latvian Postal Service, talking about the planned e-signature. I have clocked my connection at over 7Mbps (and on a good day, it was screaming along at 55 Mbps on www.speedtest.lv). I am getting tired of this shit. Briefly, YouTube worked for my videoblog, but now the m--f-- is slow even though it is the middle of the fucking night in the US or wherever they keep their servers.
Are there any better ways to upload, host and link videos to blogger than this? GoogleVideo is the mother of all nightmares, taking days to approve a fucking talking head.

I'd think speedtest.lv is relevant only to LTK's Open Garden.

I assume that 7 Mbps is download, not upload speed. Upload could be a lot slower.

As for alternatives, I personally have used only Google Video and YouTube. I know there is another one called blip.tv, you could try it (but I can say anything good or bad about it, because, as I already said, I haven't tested it).

yeah, I bet speedtest.lv doesn't take into account that the connection is asynchronous

did you have the chance to post the video yet?

I sometimes use Vimeo.com as a backup, while YouTube does who knows what. An added bonus on for those wishing to let the videos be downloaded are Vimeo links to download both the original and FLV.

Thanks for your comments. You can now see the rather bizarre video. I must learn to hold the phone sideways to get the image upright.
